We are a small show kennel situated in Leicestershire in the heart of rural England.
Our dogs are first and foremost much loved and valued members of the family living within our home.
We live in a peaceful village surrounded by plenty of fields which enables all our dogs to have lots of exercise.
Here at Applecote we aim to produce good quality golden retrievers which are 'Fit for Function'.
That are able to do a good days work in the field, of a high standard to enter the show ring to be sound in body and mind and most importantly to have that typical lovely Golden Retriever temprement.
We only breed from our girls very occasionally usually when we would like a puppy ourselves so, if you are interested in puchasing a puppy from us please be patient as you may have to wait a while.
All prospective buyers will be vetted as we aim to give all of our puppies loving, permanent homes from the start.
Our girls undertake the recommended KC/BVA health checks prior to breeding allowing us to only breed with the healthiest of dogs, with the puppies being raised in the home in a family environment.

For over twenty five years we have owned this wonderful breed.
